The MTVSBWZ series is a temperature transmitter designed for RTD (resistance temperature detector) sensors, such as Pt100. It converts the low-level resistance signal from the RTD into a standard 4–20 mA or voltage output that can be transmitted over long distances with high immunity to electrical noise. SBWR is the equivalent series for thermocouple sensors.
SBWZ transmitters are available as head-mounted modules (fitted into the sensor’s terminal head) or as integrated field transmitters with a housing and local display.
