The Metryva Chuanyi MTV Wedge Flowmeter developed by Chongqing Chuanyi Automation Co., Ltd. is a differential pressure flow measurement device featuring an internal V-shaped throttling element with a smooth top angle facing downward. This design facilitates the smooth passage of suspended particles and viscous liquids, preventing retention and making it particularly suitable for measuring fluids prone to clogging, such as slurries, sand-laden crude oil, pulp, and residual oil.

 

  • Bi-Directional Flow Measurement: Capable of accurately measuring flow in both directions.

  • Short Straight Pipe Requirements: Requires minimal straight pipe sections—only 5 times the pipe diameter (D) upstream and 3D downstream—facilitating flexible installation.

  • High Accuracy: Achieves measurement accuracy up to ±1% of the indicated value.

  • Wear-Resistant Design: Offers a tungsten carbide wear-resistant wedge option and employs advanced welding technology that does not require cutting the pipe for wedge installation.

  • Multiple Pressure Taps: Provides options for multiple pressure tap configurations to suit various application needs.
